How lucky am I...
As a builder, I love what I get to do on a daily basis. It's creative and satisfying. These feelings multiply when I get to bring my talents home. One might think building my own home while still working for clients would be exhausting but it's just the opposite...it is unbelievably gratifying.Building The Bullwheel in the Madison Valley has been one of those projects that reminds me why I love what I do. From the moment I started, I was drawn to the rich, dark timber accents and how they play against the soft grasses of the hillside. Seeing the home take shape, I realized how it changes with the seasons — in winter, when snow blankets the valley, it feels even more inviting and protective, almost like it’s quietly keeping the landscape safe. Every detail, from the timber finishes to the layout, wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about creating a home that feels lived-in, comforting, and connected to Montana’s unique surroundings. Working on a project like this is a privilege — it’s challenging, creative, and deeply satisfying to see something so personal come to life in harmony with the land.
